Uniden's Conflict Minerals Company Policy

The minerals from the Democratic Republic of Congo such as gold, tin, tungsten, tantalum and their derivatives are considered "Conflict Minerals". The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act was passed in 2010, requiring manufacturers and their suppliers to disclose "Conflict Minerals" that are necessary to the functionality or production of their products. The income from the sales of the "Conflict Minerals" could possibly be supporting violence and human rights violations. The objective is to end funding of unlawful military groups that are conducting these violent atrocities.

Uniden is committed to the support of the efforts to eliminate the use of "Conflict Minerals". It is our intent to ensure compliance and do not knowingly procure or us "Conflict Minerals" in any of our products. We will also regularly perform due diligence and ask our suppliers to do the same with their supply chains.
